Purpose. Postmark CU is committed to making available financial products and services that will enable members to meet their financial needs and reach financial goals. The CU will protect financial information of members.

Data Collection & Protection. The CU will collect only the personal information that is necessary to conduct business. Security controls will be maintained to protect member information. When appropriate, security techniques will be used to protect information and confidentiality of personal records.

Data Sharing & Business Partners. The CU will share information to administer the products and services provided, when required by the government and regulations, or when partnering with other businesses to offer products and services. Fees and charges of the CU's business partners will not be deducted from accounts without the consent of the member. The CU will not sell member information to telemarketing firms .

Information Accuracy & Usage. With relevant documentation and security measures, members may make necessary changes to their information to ensure the CU's records are complete and accurate. When it is not pertinent to conducting the business of a financial institution, members may elect to prevent information from being shared with the CU's business partners.

Member Education. Periodically, members will be advised of the CU's committment to privacy. Newsletter, lobby notices, statement messages, and individual communications will be used to advise members of the committment .
